I love Pearls, they are simple and elegant...I was just thinking about them and decided to look up what they sympolize.

  Purity, Harmony, Humility...


There is a parable in the bible called the Pearl of Great Price...I hae been thinking about that title and decided to look more into the story:

Matt 13:45,46  "Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,  who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it."

I am reminded of God, who sacrificed his son, a great sacrifice to save us because he loved us. I am God's treasure.  I am his Beloved. He loves me and desires relationship with me.  How truly amazing and humbling it is...
